<title>10/04/2008 - All of Trafford - The Otesha Project </title>
<link>http://www.trafford.gov.uk/content/events/eventdetails.asp?EventID=1849</link><description>Are you aged between 18 and 25? Are you interested in performing? Do you want to be a driving force for change? Are you ready to shake things up and become part of a global movement - all from the seat of your bicycle? Then why not get involved with the Otesha Project.

At the heart of the Otesha Project you&apos;ll find a two-wheeled revolution that&apos;s taking place in Canada, Australia, the Philippines and, of course, the UK. All over the place, people are hopping on their bikes and traveling across their countries, stopping at schools, festivals and communities along the way to give inspiring, thought-provoking presentations about the impacts of our everyday actions. Over the past 5 years, about 400 people have participated in Otesha Canada cycle tours and over 60,000 more have been part of an Otesha presentation.

The very first Otesha UK cycle tours will be happening next summer. From June to August 2008 two Otesha teams will meet up, cycle to different places around the UK, share really practical environmental actions, challenge people to do something in their own lives, and then move on to the next place. We&apos;re already hard at work contacting schools, festivals and communities to arrange presentations, and starting this autumn we&apos;ll be building two teams of cycling, performing, ruckus-causing tour members to take part in this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Over the course of six weeks, Otesha teams will travel around the UK in two-wheeled communities, sharing a unique brand of theatre, humour and DIY ethos. Tour members will get to demonstrate that living sustainably is as easy as reconsidering the simple choices that we all make from day to day. We&apos;ll also showcase the Otesha play, facilitate interactive workshops on specific issues like climate change or fair trade, and invite people to participate in hands-on sessions on bike repairs, do-it-yourself media and more.

If you want to join up with other people and actually do something to create change, then come ride with us. Log onto: www.otesha.org.uk to find out more.

Contract: Must Sign Exclusively to Record Label and Management Company.

I am a Casting Director from Manchester looking for five fit, attractive lads aged 16-21, who can either sing or dance well for a major new record and TV project.

We are particularly keen to see kids from inner city schools or lads who for one reason or another have made a few bad decisions in life and are looking for the chance to get on the right ladder.

We are especially interested to see unemployed youths or teens from disadvantaged backgrounds of any ethnicity.

The right candidates will have great personalities and a positive attitude and a good sense of humour. If all goes well this new group of lads will be working together for some time so we want to see people who are used to working as part of a team. For this reason we would like to see amateur sportsmen.

Vocal coaches and dancing teachers will work with the successful candidateswho will be expected to sign exclusively to a management company and record label.
