Seating Plan / Access / Facilities

Seating PlanTheatre capacity is 346 for reserved seated events. There are excellent sight lines from all seats. Theatre capacity is 550 for standing events.

Concession price tickets are available to those aged 16 and under, students in full-time education, over 60 and in retirement, disabled people in receipt of benefits, visual and hearing impaired people, people claiming Jobseekers Allowance, Trafford Leisure Pass holders. Wheelchair users and hearing and visually impaired patrons may book a concessionary ticket for their companion. This concession must be quoted at time of booking.

ACCESS

Wheelchair users and hearing and visually impaired patrons may book a concessionary ticket for their companion. Waterside Arts Centre is a fully accessible venue. There is a flat ramp to the entrance. There are 10 wheelchair spaces in the theatre auditorium with seats behind for a carer and companion. Please mention access requirements when booking.

Guide Dog LogoGuidedogs and Hearing Dogs can are welcome please mention at time of booking. Your dog may be taken in into the auditorium and you will be offered one of four front aisle seats where available and told about any special effects that might affect your dog's comfort. If you prefer, theatre staff will look after your dog for you. Please inform our box office staff if you have any access requirements for hearing.

Hearing Aid LogoAn Infra Red loop system is fitted in the Robert Bolt Theatre and Council Chambers. A simple receiver is available from Box Office which works with your Hearing aids when turned to the T-Position. Portable induction loop systems are available for all other meeting rooms upon request.

  • The Waterside Arts Centre's exhibitions will remain open until 8pm on performance days and events.
     
  • Waterside Arts Centre is a non-smoking building
     
  • Baby changing facilities situated in Accessible Toilet, through gallery/ foyer space.
     
  • The Waterside Arts Centre outdoor plaza features a bar and restaurants, The Waterside and OCA. There are a variety of bars and restaurants within close proximity, including The Met and The Kings Ransom.
